Loved everything about this great little cafe. The food was presented elegantly with Thai flair & flavours. My avocado, so simple but so pretty on the plate. Egg in a pan just delicious. Coffee, rich, smooth & flavoursome, a well-made Merlo. Staff were also great. Pet friendly, too, in a pleasant setting. Update..... Since visiting this cafe two years ago we found it to be not so good. Coffee not the same quality & food lacked attention to detail. So have removed my 5 star rating

What an amazing little surprise! We have travelled from Bundaberg for an appointment, but needed some breakfast. We got greeted and seated by welcoming staff. They couldn’t do enough for us. The food arrived and it was simply amazing, fresh, tasty, well presented, delicious. We will be back any time we are in town. The owners/staff were a pleasure to deal with. I can not give this place a better score.

Delightful clean and reasonably priced. A suburban gem. Aptly named" Happy Cafe". Lovely Merlo coffee. Service polite and prompt. Food servings generous. Menu was extensive with cultural options. Popped in for a late lunch with daughter and we stayed enjoying quiet shady courtyard. As we entered via the quirky street front we met two extremely satisfied customers who proclaimed their satisfaction and that we would enjoy our visit- which we did! Thank you Happy Cafe staff!

Love this place. Really great coffee. The food is tasty and affordable. But just as important for me, the staff are friendly and remember my order even if I don't get there for a while. Mark is very friendly and happy to see you and that makes you feel valued. I have never had a bad coffee there. Great area to sit in and eat. Highly recommend.

So good, so worth it, and definitely a place I’d recommend to my friends. 10/10, would come back again

Amazing discovery! This happy little café has great seating area out the front if you want to view the street or out the back in a lovely leafy enclosed verandah/courtyard. Coffee is Merlo and made beautifully. Good prices on food & beverages. Love it when I find newspapers to read and chess boards to play. So much variety! I’ll come back with my teenagers to try the Pad se-ew for lunch. Definitely a great place for catchups and great customer service. We felt very welcomed. Great coffee!

I only had the thai egg on pan, but I loved it. It was just right, wished I also had it with coffee and perhaps I will come back for that. A lot of people might not like the bacon wasn't crispy and burnt, but I am someone who likes bacon just tender and able to chew, so it was perfect for me. The eggs was done just right as well. I would recommend this cafe.

A little gem hiding in the neighbourhood! The staff was super nice and friendly, the food was excellent (flavour and quantity). The food was so good I forgot to take photos (sadly), but we definitely are coming again. By the way: the cafe's name honours how we feel having their delicious food!
